Unable to play After Patch

I just downloaded the patch. Since then, my game has frozen three times, crashed twice, and I can't load in. I believe your game is destroying my computer. Even when I could get in (pre-patch), I was running 40-50 fps on medium settings.

My comp is one month old.

i7-11700kf 3.6GHz

32 gigs of ram,

3080 video card.

You have made one crappy game.

I have tried at least 10x's to play. Every time my game crashes at various points. Some while connecting to servers, others while loading into the game, some while zooming in to deploy in match. The common denominator in all of them is I don't get to play at all. What is the easiest way to request a refund?

Hey, @Rootagator can you try a clean boot to see if any programs are messing with Battlefield 2042 and turn off any overlay programs, such as Discord or Nvidia experience.

Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?

I have since tried verifying the files, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, and still my game crashes to desktop after clicking on play conquest. The map sometimes will load, and then freeze and crash.

The last two times i've tried to play, my game crashes after selecting play for conquest. This happened also for breakthrough.

I tried again to see if it work, nope. I had the task manager open while starting the game. EasyAimCheat showed to be launching and was using memory. However, I never saw BF2042 in the list of applications using any CPU or Memory resources. s

@RicksPvp Could you try to power cycle the console and see if that helps.

How to power cycle:

Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Make sure that you wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

Plug the console power cable back in.

Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.
