Summarize your bug Vertical thumbstick input in vehicles that can hover (all helicopters, f-35, Condor) have a deadzone of approximately 50% which occur independent from the deadzone settings which can be manually set.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Step in one of the mentioned vehicles (Helicopters or VTOL aircraft in hover mode) and push the right thumbstick very slowly straight up or down and watch when the input is registered and the vehicle starts to move in the given direction.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game doesn't register the first 50% of the vertical input in the mentioned vehicles and the vehicle doesn't move until the thumbstick is pushed almost completely up or down.
What should be happening instead? The mentioned vehicles should move immediatly even when the thumbstick is pushed only a little bit because I have disabled thumbstick deadzone in the settings and I also don't have this problem for the horizontal input in the same vehicles.

Hello dear Dice-Team,

I have a big issue with the controlls of some air vehicles. For all helicopters and those air vehicles which can hover (F-35 and Condor) there is a deadzone for the vertical input of approximately 50% of the whole first movement of the thumbstick.
To put it into other words: regarding the movements "nose up" or "nose down" I have to push the thumbstick at least 50% up or down until the game registers that input. Before those 50% my vehicle doesn't move "nose up" or "nose down" at all.

That ist very strange because of several reasons:

-In helicopters this problem is always there. But in vehicles which have the option to hover (VTOL) but also can fly like regular air planes (F-35 and Condor) this problem ONLY occurs while hovering. When regular flight mode is activated the vertical input gets registered precisely.
-In the same vehicles where this problem occurs there is no such deadzone for horizontal movement and my input gets registered absolutely perfect
-I didn't have that problem in the open beta and my setup there was exactly the same as now
-And I also don't have any other problem with thumbstick deadzones, neither as Soldier on the ground or in any other vehicle. This problem only occurs in VTOL aircraft while hovering or helicopters while normal flying (so it can't be a problem because of my controller)

I would be very thankful if you could look into this and very glad if you could fix this problem because right flying helicopters is literally unplayable for me right. BTW I also heard from some players that the thought that flying helicopters in BF 2042 was kinda weird, so maybe they have the same problem but without noticing it.

To other fellow BF 2042 players: Did you notice a simililar problem?

Kind regards!
