If you hover over the Vsync setting in game, it effectively says not to turn it on if your monitor has Gsync, etc. My monitor has Gsync and I've had in-game Vsync turned off since day 1.
You may also want to make sure in-game overlay is off in EA app (at least for troubleshooting).
