Wall glitch on aparaiso Chile map battlefield 2042

I was recently playing on this map and there were 2 or 3 players hiding inside the side of the mountain completely camouflaged from sight between home base and Charlie 1 and I'd like to know if that's just a game glitch or is there more to it?
