Weekly task (still) missing

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)

What happens when the bug occurs? Weekly task not showing
What should be happening instead? I should see the weekly task

Weekly task missing still happening ... game restarted, cache deleted, files repaired etc ...

Funniest part is this post i think ... cmon DICE, stop trolling us and fix your game ...

    Hey all, 

    The teams are indeed aware that also this Weekly Mission is not showing up for some players.

    You should still be able to progress towards the weekly challenges and unlock the rewards, even if you don't see the Weekly Mission widget in the AoW menu.

    You can only progress the Weekly Mission if you're playing on official AoW matchmade servers, or if you matchmake into an official DICE Portal Featured server, that you can join via the featured game mode tiles in the Portal menu, so not the server browser. The mission will also not track if you're playing in Solo/Co-op.

    Well in my case the mission is showing in the main menu now, but nothing tracks. After several matches in official Rush, still no progress was tracked. So it seems to be that some people are can progress regardless if you can see it, and some people can't progress at all.

    @ManBean 

    I'm not 100% sure on how Portal progression works - were you using Portal weapons from BC2 for example or were you using 2042 exclusive weapons?

    I recommend trying to progress with Breakthrough via AOW

    @TTZ_DipsyI was doing 2042 Rush (Ripple effect Official) since one of the tasks is to get 10 kills in Rush. I have progressed weekly challenges in Portal several times before, since it is confirmed to work (by DICE) in Portal official experiences. Unfortunately I cannot play AOW since the player numbers in my region are too low to get matches.

    Edit: Since I was doing 2042 Rush, all equipment/weapons were 2042.

    Ah my bad, just noticed the featured list changed from flashback rush to 2042.

    I believe this was already pinged before, but I'll pass it on to someone on the team

    @TTZ_Dipsy I mean...this has been happening since launch, no?

    I don't know why DICE takes forever to fix everything, this game isn't in a state where it can wait 3-4 months for fixes. It needs fixes to issues like this ASAP.

    But DICE probably gonna slow-roll this and try to fix it in the S1 patch, or if we get some kind of patch in May. But given their track record...I'm not optimistic they'll be able to fix it.

    I swear, that Twitter account primarily exists to tell us all the things that are still broken and the new things DICE breaks rather than give any exciting information at this point. I guess it's a reflection of the ongoing state of the game : /

    So its now showing, but no matter how many rounds of Rush I play its not counting towards the Weekly. 

    And yes im playing the official BF2042 Rush, not the Portal servers.

    After playing another 4 rounds of Rush with another 100 kills; have spoken with EA Support, and they have unlocked it for me. 

    As annoying as the game is, and some of the decisions EA makes, at least their customer support reps have always been excellent to deal with.
