BF2042 Failed to launch

Hello everyone i hope you're doing okay, i'm having problems launching the game. Yesterday everything worked just fine and today i decided to update to the latest nvidia drivers and latest windows updates which i haven't updated both in more than a month or so.
the game first asked for some activation and after entering my information it just won't launch.
Tried everything i could by
1- updating and repairing EA anticheat
2- steam file verification and clearing cache
3- running both EA and Steam as administrator.
4- sfc file checker was clear.

my PC specs:
Nvidia RTX 4070Ti Super Windforce OC
CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D

here's screenshot. 

Note: i have the same problem across all Battlefield games such as 4,1,V and 2042

    Sorry to hear that you are currently experiencing a problem.
    Can you try this :
    1- Open the "EA Service" folder in “C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EA Services”;
    3- And delete the "License" folder;


    4- Open EA app, then click on the three dots in a checkbox;
    5- Select "Helps" > "App Recovery" and make a recovery

    6- Try to launch the game
    Let me know 😉

    Hello Steeve_BF​ , Thank you and sorry for the late reply. So before doing what you suggested i went on and update/fix the EA anti cheat one more time and tried to launch the game and this time the game downloaded 176MB of data and worked just fine. Thank you again :)
