Weird Latency Issue

On PC, I used to get 70ms latency but I was away for a few weeks.

Been playing again the last few days and I've been getting 200ms in game.

Thinking it was unusual, I checked the Portal Server browser and spotted a few 70ms servers.

When I joined those servers, again i was getting 200ms in game.

Something is terribly wrong here.

I thought maybe its my internet connection and all my other games would be suffering from the same latency issues.

So after the usual troubleshooting I checked other games and they seemed fine.

Fortnite was 54ms

COD MW2 - 65 to 74ms

I have also checked on my PS5 and faced the same issue.

70 ms server but in game 200ms.

To add, I also at times get the ''persistence data'' error.

What can i do?

    @TheDudeBro69  need more info.
    Do ya use wireless or a wired network ?
    DSL ? Broadband ? Fiber ?

    If you are running the EA app, it could be the source of your problem. My clan mate has this problem and closing down EA app stuff seams to fix it.

    Can you do that on the PC, doesnt it need the app to run and sync later?

    I uninstalled the game on PC a few days ago.

    I have the same latency issue on PS5 as well.

    My PS5 version is kept installed.

    I can share any other info if needed from it.

    I uninstalled the game on PC a few days ago to make space for other games.

    I'll share the PS5 version of it in a bit.

    I have the exact same issue there as well.
