Hey, @acedudeq  can you try a clean boot to see if any programs are messing with Battlefield 2042 and turn off any overlay programs, such as Discord or Nvidia experience.

Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?

Thats correct !
My younger brother got a Gigabyte Z690 UD AX PCIE5.0 DDR5 , 2x8gb 5600mhz Kingston Fury Beast cl36 , 12th gen I7-12700k, with a Geforce 1080I Armor
No oc , all stock settings !!!
And as soon he start playing, in the same match or a match later he get a blackscreen of a directx/driver error.

Reinstalled windows 10 and game in origin and EA app
Reinstalled Windows 11 and game in origin and EA app
Reinstalled latest and older drivers for gpu
Cleanboot
Undervolt GPU
Down clocked GPU
repair net frame work
directx install
sfc /scannow

deleted bf2042 folder multiple times (even after clean install windows)
easyanticheat repair/reinstalled

vc installed/repaired

Did run benchmark programs, did run prime95 no issues

and some more tips, none of them did anything to solve this issue for him!
