Due to the cheating problem on all EA games. I will not be buying the latest battlefield 2042 or any new release until something is done about cheaters.
It is actually not very difficult to solve especially with the current AI tech that is available.
Just change the way games load and create an ability to swap players back and forth between servers, duplicate servers, and duplicate players with AI players who mimic the players including chat conversations.
I think it would be pretty awesome to have my own AI self that performs based on my player stats. The only use for my Ai duplicate is to entertain cheaters.
Anyone flagged a cheater who joins a server would instantly be rerouted to a duplication of the server they joined.
The cheaters that slip through the cracks of this system would be those who tweak their cheats to give themselves an edge. That is where other detection systems will need to be in place.
As a bonus of making this development, battlefield games would have better bots for offline play.
