Xbox One X controller has incorrect button mapping when using over Bluetooth

Xbox One X controller has incorrect button mapping when using over Bluetooth (yes Bluetooth, not the Xbox wireless receiver dongle) .

When using a USB cable the buttons work correctly

Here are some examples of what it looks like when I try to remap the buttons in the control settings in game:
LT = X

RT = Y

A  = D-Left
X = D-Right

Y = D-Down

B = D-Up

D-pad does not work at all

This is very annoying because I can't use my wireless controller wirelessly

    also have this fault!! Over Bluetooth

    LB = X

    Left Stick Click =View Button

    View button = B

    Menu Button = A

    A  = D-Left
    X = D-Right

    Y = D-Down

    B = D-Up

    D-pad does not work at all

    ( If I connect by cable it works correctly in BF2042 )

    Controller works correctly in other games over Bluetooth!!

    Tested on GTA V and Battlefield V the controller works over Bluetooth with no issues, But buttons are all wrong on BF2042!!!!!

    (Update EA are aware of the issues and it's being investigated, was told I will have to play BF2042 with the controller connected by a cable until they fix the issue)

    Exactly the same problem for me.

    is there a fix to this problem ?
