Xbox Series X Battlefield 2042 - stuttering, lagging, console crashing and power

Also a Xbox Series X user.

Since the last update the amount of frame drop on every map is beyond a joke, the game is literally going down to single FPS that is when it's not locking up and freezing for 3-5 seconds at a time. 

Whatever they changed I hope is fixed during the next patch but I can't see myself playing the game in this state until that fix comes in.

Experiencing absolutely the same. Playing on Xbox series x wired connection 700mbps and 15ms. I only play after work maybe an hour maybe 2. But now after the latest update the game feels broken. Every single match for me starts smooth and halfway in the game starts freezing seconds then continues and freezes again. Then proceeds with very low framerates and stuttering mostly till the endgame. This is when i leave and join another level... When this occurs and i open the xbox dashboard all is very quick and instantly there. So for sure it s not the xbox but the game being poor for some reason.

Ive been enjoying the game alot truly. I don t mind all the new stuff and the stuff excluded from the previous game. In general it s just fun and mayhem. However the FPS drops and freezes need a fix ASAP.

Also i forgot to mention. Sometimes it freezes up in hourglass or manifest and orbiral for longer then 2 3 seconds and the xbox brings me back to the xbox menu and quits the game.... only sometimes this happens but still.

Same, Series X and it is unplayable with stutters all over the place. 

Happening to me too, especially on breakthrough, manifest. Heavy stuttering, then freeze and back to xbox menu. Would love to be able to play the game, i bought it after all.
