Xbox Series X Powers Off

@Mackiedumb55Fact that your console is powering off coupled with low fps makes me think you may have a broken console. This Bf does seem very graphicaly intense so you wouldnt get this stress from other games.

I imagine its shutting down as a safety feature to avoid further damage, maybe high temps etc

Had a little google and it seems that there are issues that cause series X's to turn off

Well my Xbox seems to run everything else fine, I've never really had fps issue or my console shut down. Also it has only happened twice and doesn't seem to be often. I have seen other players complaining that it also shuts down their Xbox, so I'm not sure if it's 2042 or hardware related. 

On the lag tho I have a 4k display and am thinking maybe the game is forcing a higher resolution instead of just 1080p 60fps. My idea was to turn off my 4k settings in Xbox and see if that does anything.

Summarize your bug So once I launch the game the timer starts max I'll last maybe 15 mins but I'll play around and o can literally be in the most quietest part of the map and I'll have my console shut off

What should be happening instead? I should be playing your game for 3hrs but all its doing is making me hate your product that you assured was a old build kinda seems like you just used the same build from the beta

I did turn everything to 1080p and still crashed my first game of manifest breakthrough. So idk what's up 

Its the game, not your console. Other people have had hard crashes as well.

its on their ends not your Xbox. happens to me too and i play Farcry 6  without problem and the game has huge graphics

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just run battlefield conquest on series x for a few games
What happens when the bug occurs? Whole system shuts down and turns itself off
What should be happening instead? This shouldn’t be happening on a £500 next gen console

I’m disappointed 

So it only happens on bf2042, never happens with any other games or any other bf games either, so magically thousands of consoles are suddenly broken within a few days of bf2042 releasing.
