Your game failed to launch
BF2042 was working fine on EA for a while, then it stopped working and I realized that EA was not forcing an update on the game which was the issue since when I went into Origin it prompted an update and then allowed it to launch from both platforms. Then EA stopped opening altogether so I was forced to go through Origin full time. Since the merge it forced me back to EA which is fine since EA started opening again, but after a few plays it stopped launching in EA with the message Your game failed to launch - An error on our end caused your launch to fail. Try again a little later. Did everything people recommended in the forums:
- Restart my PC
- Full firewall permission
- Disable antivirus
- Repair BF
- Reinstall BF
- Open from GEFORCE EXPERIENCE
- Open with admin (both EA and BF2042)
- Reinstall EA desktop
- Reset the signatures
- Open the game while internet is unplugged to see if there was a message (none appeared)
It's been a month and I still can't launch the game. It would be great if I could redeem my code on steam so I could try that platform because EA is just not having it.
