I agree with the small maps issue. It seems like they are trying to cater to both the BF community and the COD community and feedback from streamers that love COD is not helping. They want BF6 to become another COD. The limited verticality is disappointing with roofs being inaccessible (except for a few tricks) and the maps having 3 levels of vertical play at most. The tiny maps make vehicles feel ineffective in my opinion, as you spawn and then are immediately face to face with half the enemy team. There is no real positioning because of the map size and the spawns flip just like COD because clusters of players are just running to caps. That part is relatively fine, but with a 2 second respawn timer there isn't any punishment for dying and you can respawn two or three times at a point being capped before its neutralized. It takes a lot of the tactical element out of it and it mimics the spawn, shoot, die, spawn flow of COD.
I was really excited for this game and the first beta went well, but this beta and the new map they added with it have me debating if it'll be worth buying. Many may disagree, but I recommend not pre-ordering if you're looking for a true BF game since this beta has raised a lot of concerns within the community and with those that have already pre-ordered.
