Bf 6 | MY FEEDBACK

Because of the fantastic gameplay trailer, I didn't hesitate for a second to see for myself and play the BETA. Overall, the game is fun, but as a veteran (I've been playing since Battlefield 2), I have a few criticisms.

I really hoped the game would tie in with BF4, but unfortunately, it only partially does.
Sure, the atmosphere and destruction are magnificent, but that's only a small part of the game.

  1. PACING. The game's pace is more reminiscent of a fast-paced shooter. I think you know which one I mean. The weapons feel rather light due to the fast animations. Then there's the sliding. The movement just isn't what we're used to from Battlefield 3/4. It's too hectic. If Battlefield could do anything, it was give weapons a realistic feel. Be it through animations or sounds. Slowing down or reworking animations should give the game more Battlefield feeling.
  2.  MAPS. The maps available during the beta are simply too small for 64 players Classic Conquest. You have hardly any tactical options, but instead just run with groups of your team to the next flag and shoot at enemies. As soon as you capture a point, enemies can appear from every corner. You hardly have any breaks or space.
Metro from Battlefield 3 was at least linear. You could bypass enemy defenses and thus create chaos. You knew which direction the enemies were coming from. On the maps I played, that was impossible. Enemies can come from anywhere, and the distances are simply too short.
Suggestion: Make the maps larger for conquest and breakthrough. Give us more options to bypass enemies. Make sure enemies don't spawn in all directions. Not every point on the small town map should be accessible from every direction. Defenders should have a better chance of defending points.
  3. CLASSES. I quite like the class system, and I know it's still being tweaked. But I do have one important point. The support class should have two subclasses: the Medic and the classic Ammo Carrier. It simply doesn't make sense for a Medic to run around with an LMG, especially when you should be on the front lines reviving the Assaults.
Give the Medic their own signature weapon, like a Carbine.
Give the Medic their own bag. It's not good for gameplay if the class can do both at the same time. Suggestion: Make the Medic either a separate class or a subclass of support. Give the Medic their own signature weapon and Healing Item.

Conclusion: The game is certainly fun, especially with the destruction.

But for Battlefield veterans, the question is, for how long?
I haven't played the other maps, and it may be true that some of them are larger, but the maps I have played aren't fun in the long run.
Yes, the explosions, destruction, and infantry battles are awesome, but that's only a small part of the game.
The heart of the game remains the large maps, which offer tactical gameplay and, of course, the vehicles. Tanks, jets, etc.
Unfortunately, none of that really comes into its own.

Vehicles are, of course, playable on the beta maps, but they're not that useful due to the size of the map. You can barely maneuver with the tanks.

Please, DICE and all the other studios involved:
You have a good foundation, which is fun, but to truly improve the game than Battlefield 3 and 4, it needs more depth and more "Battlefield feeling". Just like the old games, only even better.
Make something of it.
