BF6 - My General Beta Feedback

No server browser. Without permanent servers, there is no community. No browser, no purchase.

Maps are tiny. Even the biggest map right now is small in comparison to BF4 maps.

There need to be different languages for different factions. In BF4, you could tell who's who purely through audio; here, you cannot.

There is no way to disable crossplay on PC. Playing against snipers with a legal aimbot that can send a flickshot right through your cranium is not fun.

Movement is too fast. I'm exchanging fire with a dude in another building, duck to reload, and 4 seconds later his gun's barrel is up my 6 because he sprinted across 80 meters like Sonic the Hedgehog.

Having 3 gadgets + active ability is too many. Scout can set spawn points, C4 tanks, spot enemies with TUGS, and spot enemies with his UAV. Engi can kill vehicles with RPGs, kill (or try to) helis and jets with Stingers or place mines, and repair vehicles and repair vehicles, only better. Assault has a grenade launcher, 2nd grenade launcher or primary, stim, and active skill stim. And support, the most OP of all, had a medkit/ammo combo, paddles, mobile cover, and can turn himself into a mobile dispensary. Basically, every soldier feels like a one-man army instead of a cog in a warmachine.

Assault is a useless class clearly aimed at CoD kiddies. Being able to take 2 main weapons (with a massive hit to ammo) is no substitute for a med bag and paddles. Right now, there is no reason to have an assault in a squad or the team, especially in weapon-unrestricted gamemodes. Want to spam explosives? Take AR as engi and use RPGs on infantry, or take support and chuck infinite nades. Wanna play medic? Take AR as support and the 2in1 bag + paddles and be the ultimate team asset.

The ability to have an unlimited amount of engis repair you is extremely overpowered, and the active ability only makes it worse. Once I had 4 on my IFV, and not even MBT and 2 engis flinging RPGs managed to kill me. There needs to be a limit to how much HP a vehicle can get back from getting repaired.

Scope glint is the worst it has ever been. Aiming down is akin to lighting a beacon, making any sort of sniping impossible, as it always devolves into sniper "duels" where both parties AD-AD and crouch spam because neither of them can get more than a flickshot off since the entire map can see them.

Stinger has too low a lock-on range, too slow missiles, and not enough damage to oneshot a jet. Right now, trying to get lucky with the RPG is better than trying to use the Stinger.

Vehicles are extremely weak when not accompanied by a gaggle of engineers. When a lonely engi can 1v1 an MBT and win, there is no reason to use vehicles. This leads to vehicles having to camp far away from infantry, being of no help to their team.

Tank's main gun does zero splash damage. Having to direct impact infantry with HEAT shells is insane and makes the tank useless. Right now, the tank's gunner gets more kills than the tank driver.

AA is unusably bad. Turret is unresponsive, cannons have zero accuracy, do pathetic damage, and fire in short bursts instead of full auto, and missiles as a whole are useless unless a jet actively lets you shoot it down or you have a buddy on the other side of the map that makes him waste his flares, and even when they hit the jet, they don't one-shot. Also, I noticed the radar does exactly nothing to spot air targets.

The jet flight model is simply terrible. Yaw is nonexistent, pitch is unresponsive, and the turning radius is that of a pick-up truck. And for some reason, it can survive a hit from a Stinger.

Its armament is no better. Dumb bombs have tiny splash damage, needing almost direct hits to kill infantry. Guided bombs do too little damage to be of any use other than annoying vehicle players and stealing kills from engineers. Their lock-on range is also too low, leading to having to basically point-blank them at people.

Helis are no better than jets. The flight model is terrible, rockets have little splash damage, and they are easy pickings for basically anyone on the battlefield. The only way to survive in one is to camp the edge of the map and let your gunner farm kills.

Genuinely do not understand why you didn't just Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V the BF4's flight model. It's the best in the series, and most people are familiar with it.

Siege of Cairo has several out-of-bounds areas accessible, such as the rooftops on and around C, and the highway. And the CoD map (dunno its name, it's the shotgun heaven one) has a bug with geometry on the stairs on the "middle lane" leading to the C point (seems C is hard to make properly), where you can get under them. Screenshots of one of the rooftops and the stairs are attached.
