Double the points given to suppressive fire.

Points in the game drives player action. Obviously players want to get kills on various objects in the world; infantry, tanks, and aircraft ect. and we reward medics by reviving down teammates. An often critique that I see of the game is complaints about snipers. They are not oppressive as you might think they are if you know what their detractions are.

Accurate suppressing and smoke utilization. Using these tools will reduce their accuracy and give the opponent the choice of facing a barrage  of fire, knocking up dirt and bouncing their scope when hit and give the opportunity for players to press the sniper more freely.

The only issue with this strategy is it doesn't look good on the scoreboard. For 5 points a suppression you would need to suppress and push off 20 people to amount to the same value as 1 kill, or suppressing 10 people amounts to a revive. That just doesn't reflect the typical value of pushing players off their position provides to your team in the game.

I believe if you create the incentive to using and playing utility roles within the game you will make it much more enjoyable to the players who know how to use it. Will you ever get the points for throwing a smoke grenade allowing your team to seize the point in breakthrough although it did not directly do damage or facilitate the revive of 10 people?

When considering it with assists at any real distance where the suppressing fire can be the most effective the 13-20 damage that they take from the bullets won't likely kill and they will likely recover to 100 HP before the guy with the shotgun or SMG gets on their spot and whoops them down with the close quarter weapon advantage.

Thank you for reading, I love the game so far outside of the infrequent graphical bugs as well as my grenades and equipment periodically disappearing when I deploy them. Every time a smoke is consumed and it doesn't blow I think to my self, manufacture of that thing killed me with a dud grenade... my cover being consumed and not deploying like 40% of the time is a real problem though.

I see you when you give up. I see it. Your medic will save you. I see you giving up on me. Only headshots and bleedouts go to Valhalla. I see you every time you give up on me.
