My BF 6 Beta 2 Feedback
After playing the second beta, I'd like to share my review again. This time I'll keep it as short as possible and not write a novel. Overall, the game has a good foundation. Now it's time to build on that.
- MAPS. The maps I played in the second BETA are simply too small. They leave little room for tactical gameplay. Most are infantry battles. The large classic Battlefield maps are simply missing. Siege of Cairo, in particular, is too small for vehicles and needs to be reworked.
- PACING. The pace is too fast. I can live with that. However, all the animations (especially the reloading) don't really fit with classic Battlefield. Everything feels very fast.
- SPOTTING. Enemies are far too easy to spot because everyone has a red triangle over their head. This makes flanking impossible. I would adopt the spotting system from BfV.
- CLASS SYSTEM. Closed-loop weapons should be standard, as they were in every good Battlefield game. Don't make the same mistake as in Battlefield 2042.
Support should also have two subclasses: a medic with a carbine, and an ammo carrier with an LMG. A medic with an LMG as their signature weapon simply doesn't make sense. - BALANCE. Some weapons, like the shotgun (especially with slugs), are simply far too powerful.
The IFV are too powerful and can be repaired too quickly (same with the Tank). Helicopters and jets can barely take damage. But I'm sure something like this will be fixed.
Thanks for reading. I would be happy to receive comments.
