Putting the center inner deadzone settings to 0 in game (either left or right stick) does not actually equals ZERO DEADZONE!
Its 2025 and you guys are still implementing this crap like its a ps3 game?
Have the values be TRUE PLEASE. It helps a TONNE having absolute zero centre deadzone for aiming.
Only way around it ATM is through software using anti-deadzones for controllers but this is NOT IDEAL.
i agree came to say the same thing left stick deadzone is to big for me.
and setting to 0 does not make it 0
right stick deadzone works fine
100%. The zero deadzone is still excessive. If any BF6 player requires this amount of contoller deadzone to compensate for stick drift, then it's time to buy a new gamepad!

funny enough the left stick dead zone works on the redeploy screen
but not for movement
I literally have the same issue........ LIKE DICE PLS remove that awful deadzone... IT'S ABSOLUTELY HORENDOUS... I cannot snipe, my micro adjustments are ruined. I ameither over aiming or under aiming, I cannot even enjoy sniping because of this also.
Also, I have played Apex Legends for 6years, where raw input feels like raw input, coming back to BF, my aim feels sloppy AF because of that added deeadzone

Hello I have the fix for this issue... Apparently the game is showing that controllers are not supported and this is the cause of this issue. The fix is to enable steam input then click on Steam icon -> Settings -> Controller -> Calibration and Advanced Settings, there, put both Left and Right Joystick deadzone to lowest (2000). Then just play the game... <3. See you on the Battlefield.
PS. If this has not fixed select Gamepad as Template in the controller configurator
how do I select Gamepad as template I don’t see it?
Is the issue still persisting whether you do not select Gamepad?
Also the Gamepad template is in Templates section in the Controller COnfigurator
Exactly it’s gotta be like 5-10. It’s sooo annoying that they won’t just let us be at actual 0.
I just stopped playing it because it really does ruin the feel of the game for me.
I wanna be able to CHOOSE for MYSELF what deadzone I use. Not battlefield.
