Some observations

I've been having a great (and sometimes frustrating)  time on this beta!   I'm on the PS5 and you have been doing a great job responding to feedback.

While I agree with some of the critiques I've read, I have to say that the physics are far superior to Battlefield 2042 and the gameplay, especially for a beta, has been great.

On the critique side I've found that the hit markers are quite often wrong - not sure what is going on but when I hit an enemy five times and they then stand up and kill me on the first shot, something is wrong.  I've noticed that with the first shot you take, you are generally unable to move and are simply a firing range target - that should be looked into.

Aim is very, very inconsistent, especially when you are trying to control recoil with burst of fire.

Gun power is all over the map, I'm unsure how an assault rifle always overpowers an LMG.

I've also been seeing that every two or three rounds, what you've gone through post game stats and reach the Start button; hitting it does nothing.  You get the button feedback sound then the button reappears as start and you cannot enter a game.  The only solution I've found is to stop the game from the PS menu and restart it.

All that being said, I've got to say that I'm excited to see what you rollout when this is released.

Aim is NOT inconsistent, its just that guns are not LASERS. THIS IS BATTLEFIELD. The weapon balancing issues come DIRECTLY from not locking them to classes. Stupid devs want to CODIFY battlefield for no reason.

  • I agree about the hit markers. It is simply point/shot. Lying low and shooting low since upper body not in FOV. An SMG takes 5-6 shots. Same scenario with head and chest shots takes the same p/s.  This is clearly not correct.

The same with a DMR headshot only, still takes 2-3 shots

Another AGGRAVATING issue is the spawn crosshair. It has hair fine accuracy. Nearly impossible to join on a moving team mate. Even the spawn objectives are hair fine. At first thought, cool I can pick in detail where I want to spawn, within reason. Nope.

I will admit the tank repair is great when you're the ones repairing the tank, terrible when you're trying to blow it up with an RPG. There's an easy fix for that. I can only carry so many bullets, 1 or 2 grenades, but amazingly, I can carry an unlimited amount of little Coleman propane tanks in my backpack. If that was the case then you should hear the engineer coming from a mile away with those clanking gas cans LOL.
