You probably would, since the only people who have agreed with the OP are people who live in vehicles and try to server stomp.
It's a skill issue, vehicles are great. I regularly land 50+ kill/assist in a single life with tank or ifv. Positioning is super important for dmg mitigation and people are either unaware or so low skill they can't position and attack/retreat effectively
