What BF6 needs
Netcode fix - hoping this will be improved quickly. TTK vs TTD is terrible in the beta. Also getting shot well behind cover pretty often.
Movement - seems really good already. Not too fast and slide/jump spam is not a problem, but not too clunky and heavy feeling either. Happy with this!
Open vs closed weapons- I would strongly prefer closed, but devs really need to pick one and stick with it. "Why not both?"... Because the game needs consistency and balance in the class design. If open, class gadgets need to be what sets classes apart and needs to be balanced really well. Currently this is NOT the case.
Classes - Recon: C4 is the only reason to even think about picking recon once beacon is moved to assault. Support: mostly okay, but defibs need a short cooldown or much longer charge time to be able to one-shot an enemy. Engineer is good, but shouldn't be able to equip rpg and stinger at the same time. Assault is way too overpowered, weapon sling needs to have a major downside or be removed, shotgun and thermobaric launcher will absolutely ruin the game if not majorly nerfed. It will be interesting to see the rest of the gadgets that will be available at launch.
Weapons - bloom should be removed and recoil attachments need to have less effect. Baseline recoil on most weapons is okay, but attachments make them too "laser-beamy". I repeat...BLOOM SHOULD BE REMOVED. It is only good for super casual kid games, not for gritty adult themed war games. If I can control my recoil with skill, my bullets should go where my reticle is! I'm really tired of losing fights I definitely should have won because of rng.
Maps - designs are great, but this is enough small maps, please only add larger maps in content updates after launch. You have the call of duty players' attention, now think about your long-time battlefield fans!
Modes - Conquest is still the goat, and the formula still works! I don't care about team/squad deathmatch, so I don't have feedback on those. Breakthrough and rush are terrible so far. Defenders' out of bounds limits should be much farther back, and they should not spawn nearly as close to the objective. I am not one to just echo content creators' opinions, but TacticalBrit's feedback on this is spot-on, so I'll my l just refer you to his video.
Vehicles - it's hard to judge the state of vehicles, since there is only 1 small map with ground and air vehicles. I am also not a pilot, so have no opinion on flying jets and helis, but I'm an engineer main, and they are a bit too easy to take out with stingers. RPGs should one-shot, so that's good. Tanks seem to be pretty close to balanced from what I can tell.
