Battlefield 6 Beta: Steam Version Connection Failed, EA app Works

None of the provided fixes worked for me, but thanks anyways

Hello! Thanks for taking time to write this guide! Sadly it did not fix the problem, still getting same error. Launching beta through EA app works tho, i get instantly into que after pressing space in the menu. I'll keep trying get this work through steam :D

Currently downloading on EA app so ill update if this works.

Here’s the full list of things I tried (kind of annoying to describe because every time I try to paste a path or paste youtube url, the forum throws a "invalid HTML tag" error):

1. Verified the beta files on Steam:
   Right-click game -> Properties -> Installed Files -> Verify integrity of game files
2. DNS flush – followed this YouTube guide:
   Title: Fix "Unable to connect" Battlefield 2042 Error | Complete Guide (from 2:00 to 2:32)
3. Added inbound rules in Windows Firewall:
   Windows Defender Firewall -> Advanced Settings -> Inbound Rules -> New Rule
   1. First rule:
      Custom rule
      Program path pointing to:
      path to EAAntiCheat GameServiceLauncher inside your steam stamapps common Glacier Events folder
      Protocol: TCP
      Leave scope as default (all)
      Action: Allow the connection
      Profile: Public only
      Name: Battlefield 6 Beta
   2. Second rule:
      Custom rule
      Program path pointing to:
      path to EAAntiCheat GameServiceLauncher inside your stamapps common Glacier Events folder
      Protocol: UDP
      Leave scope as default (all)
      Action: Allow the connection
      Profile: Public only
      Name: Battlefield 6 Beta
4. Restarted my PC

If it works for anyone else too, please confirm - would be good to know if it’s a reliable fix.

it still have that error but its only on steam though.

I had the same popup while in the shooting range and got put back in the 280k que. Played one round though and it was cool.
