"Unable to run with driver verifier active. Please disable and try again (55)"

I am trying to launch the Battlefield 6 Open Beta but to no avail. I have done my preload checks so far:

  • Secure Boot has been enabled in BIOS, as required by Javelin
  • TPM is enabled as required by Windows 11
  • I downloaded the latest Nvidia GPU driver from 31 July 2025

I presume this has something to do with the Driver Verifier program that comes with Windows. So obviously, I checked it and had some settings in place. I then tried to erase the settings in an attempt to disable it with verifier /reset in Command Prompt, restarted the PC, but still this error message keeps appearing.

I even tried using regedit to see if registry keys related to Driver Verifier are in there, but none were there. 

So I am stuck in a rut and unable to launch the Open Beta at all. Any help?

    This worked for me - "verifier /reset" then restart

    Facing the same issue for FC25 even though my driver verifier is inactive. Can someone please help?
