Solo and squad modes are totally different ways to play, and they give completely different experiences. As a battle royale game, solo has its own unique charm. Why not just release it and let players choose for themselves? If no one wants to play it, you can just shut it down naturally — that won’t waste server resources anyway, will it?

I did a brief test of the solo mode and experienced it. Honestly, I didn’t like the solo mode. Players tend to play too “safe,” constantly hiding, which doesn’t really reflect the normal dynamics of the game. That’s why team play is always more enjoyable. However, there will definitely be people who prefer playing solo. I think this mode could have been tested more actively and with more live testing over a longer period.

  • It’s pretty ridiculous that a battle royale game doesn’t even have a solo mode.

A basic solo mode has to sit in testing for half a year, and even after testing,

who knows how long we’ll have to wait for it to actually come out.

I remember Battlefield 5’s BR had both solo and four-player squads.

Why drag out something this basic for so long?
