Agree with this. Although I have gotten used a little to the way it is now by setting the sensitivity of the turret higher. Although that means that when in third person the turret moves a lot quicker.
I play on a PS5 and to be honest find that the old way worked better for me. But as I understand this is not a bug but a fix. So I am not sue if this is going to be fixed. I sure hope so.
