64 player breakthrough on battlefield 6 needs to return

its completely slowed the gameplay down that made it standout from other gamemodes as you were constantly in the action trying to make quick decisions under pressure now its basically conquest with 1-3 objectives and on top of that they have included more armored vehicles on the opposing team and with less players means less engineers which is especially bad on maps liberation peak which now have 4 tanks on the 2nd point and defenders get nothing the entire front line experience it gave is now gone which makes me sad because i love this game.

for reference one of greatest modes in shooters was operations on battlefield 1 which had 64 players on ALL MAPS battlefield 6 with 64 players on breakthrough was essentially a modern equivalent to it now its just slower more boring and i wouldnt be mad if there was a smaller equivalent of breakthrough but for the people and the many players on reddit mentioning the same things i mentioned above we should be able to enjoy the chaos the gamemode was designed for in the first place if i wanted slower gameplay id play conquest or rush its just mind boggling why anyone thought this was a better option sometimes ill literally be on an objective with an lmg and not have anyone to shoot at its insane

please consider either reverting this change or at least add a 64 player only version of this game mode back or even possibly bring operations in bf6 as this is the most fun ive experienced on a shooter since operations from bf1!

    This is honestly one of the best pieces of gameplay analysis and genuine feedback I have seen in a long time. It perfectly captures what so many players in the community have been feeling. Everything you laid out makes total sense and it speaks directly to why Breakthrough used to stand out and why the current version just does not land the same way. EA really needs to pay close attention to this because you are absolutely right. The chaos the nonstop pressure the constant decision making under fire that is what made 64 player Breakthrough special. Removing that energy has completely changed the identity of the mode and it shows in every match. You explained it better than most of the official feedback posts out there and it lines up with what players across Reddit and other platforms have been saying for months. Your comparison to Operations in Battlefield 1 is spot on too. Breakthrough with 64 players was the closest thing we had to that classic all out battle feeling in a modern setting and the slower version we have now just does not fill that gap. The reduced player count the extra vehicles and the stretched out pacing all combine to take away the frontline experience that made the mode so iconic. This is the kind of thoughtful detailed and honest feedback that should be getting pushed right in front of the devs. Whether they revert the change add a 64 player only playlist or even bring back something closer to Operations what you are saying is exactly what a huge part of the community wants.
