700 tickets on Mirak/Firestorm is an abysmal change.

Recently there was a change where tickets went from 1000 to (whatever it is on a certain map) because "matches would usually run out of time" or "take too long".

First, I don't agree with that change in the first place, so what if time runs out? and? I don't get the big deal, but whatever, a change from 1000 to 900 isn't that much of a difference maker that I would throw a tantrum over. However, Mirak going from 1k to 700 is abysmal.

Mirak isn't the biggest map in the game, if I'm not wrong it's firestorm, out of the 40 hours I've played this game for I've ran out of time on firestorm ONCE, never on Mirak. What sucks the most is Mirak is actually my favorite map, and the gameplay literally went down by 10-15 minutes because of that ticket change. I don't get it, why -300 tickets? How is spending 10 minutes less on good maps the best option?

Here's a better solution, remove the timer?? What makes this game so fun, and intense sometimes- take Escalation for example, can last so long when teams are constantly fighting, flipping objectives, or sitting on 2:2 obj each so neither gets points. That's great design, that's fun design, long intense games are fun. Why does Mirak/Firestorm need 300 less tickets?

  • DICE and EA are exclusively catering to COD bois and short attention span gaming, just so you know.

The glory days of Grand Operations ala BF1 and huge maps with epic battles and a mini campaign that only end after a long, glorious slug fest are forever gone.
