A Recurring Pattern of “Unintended” Overpowered Features

The recent temporary disabling of the 20mm APHEI Cannon due to “unintended behavior” feels like another example of the same pattern.

The issue with multirole aircraft being unable to lock onto laser-designated targets feels similar to what happened with the EOD Bot’s arm. Whenever a new feature is introduced, it often comes with an unusually strong advantage—sometimes strong enough to seem almost like a bug—and then, once it starts attracting criticism, it gets “fixed” on the grounds that it was unintended behavior.

This recurring pattern feels rather disingenuous. If something is intentionally made powerful when introduced, the developers should at least explain why it needs to be that strong, what purpose it serves in the game, and how it is supposed to make the overall gameplay better.

And I was wondering why planes weren't using my paints...

This live service is incredibly sloppy. Some things are changed on the spot, others are left lingering in limbo, all without rhyme or reason. Whatever its faults, the initial release felt tight; what came after wasn't necessarily bad, but you can tell it does not have nearly the same focus.
