About DEPLOY BEACON

ASSAULT As a frontline unit, he should not carry DEPLOY BEACON.

ASSAULT There was no extra equipment for him to carry.

Therefore, please return the equipment.

  • I suggested in my latest post an alternative version. Both could have beacon but for different re-spawn control. 

    • Assault having beacon which would allow other assault soldiers temporarily spawn on one's location.
    • Scout having squad beacon which works until breaks or re-deployed.
  • Personally I would prefer they give it to support

    In previous BF games they gave recon the ability to call in bombardment. They could add binoculars/SOFLAM (attach auto spotting) to better aid mortars and vehicles

  • The deploy beacon belongs to the recon class, anything else simply does not work.

    I agree fully that the assault class should not have a deploy beacon in any shape or form.

    The assault class should be the medic role, and only a medic role like it has always been before the nonsense took over BF. The support class should be the ammo/demolitions role ie. C4, claymore. This new assault class is pushing lone wolf mentality and isn’t BF. Recon should be the only ones with the spawn beacon. They shouldn’t have auto spot or an automatic UAV. This is BF not COD.

  • Good news, well a small one as they are nerfing auto spotting. 

    For classes I agree that they need to be re-balanced

    ASSAULT: I'm  okay with their branches; Frontline fighter and granadier. One is better with ADS takedown and ADS negating penalties while the other is better with bomb and carries extra. Both are good at close quarters and mid-fights as the AP enhances resistance and ability to find enemy through senses. Personally I would like shotgun to be exclusive for this class

    Support: this one needs to be re-balanced, their branches: combat medic and fire support. Medic bag and ammo bag need to be split and give 1 to each (Medic gets Medic bag and fire support gets ammo bag). Support gets LMG while Medic can get a buff for not having a weapon equipped (reduce movement penalties). One is good at keeping allies healthy while the oher should be good at crowd control and keeping allies ressulplied. Personally I would like the becon gatget to go to the medic (exclusive). Also medic bag resupplies gatgets while ammo bag resupplies explosives (rpg, stingers,) and you need to lv up your profession to resupply explosives and gadgets accordingly.

    Recon: i like the direction of the branches; Sniper and OPS. one is better at long range engagement while the other is more on of a stealthy close combat. The loss of the beacon gatget does make it worrysome but auto spotting and kill confirmed do make up for it. This class does need more gatgets. Personally I would like bolt action rifle to be exclusive

    Engineer: i like its braches; Anti-armor and combat engineer. One is good at weakening and destroying vehicles while the other keeps them alive and harder to kill. They are nerfing dmg against vehicles so im not sure how this could play (will depend on map size) but i think decreasing the amount of ammo would have been better. 

    There is a lot of tweaking and fine tuning needed but it will depend on the changes they make. Agree I don't want another COD repeat. The hybrid option would be very helpful in balancing the classes. Not every class should be optimized for killing, thats were the freedom to play and creativity  should make players or teams shine
