This is actually really unfortunate.
There's no way to play with more than 3 friends.
You can join the same server through the portal browser but they haven't included the ability to switch teams, so that doesn't work.
The absolute bare minimum would be the ability to have expanded party size in portal.
Crazy.
We just got off the game early because of this issue. Extremely annoying. 😒
Ruined my launch day plans unfortunately.
Wasted over an hour trying to get our fifth friend with us before realizing it actually wasn't possible.
Don’t get it why is so hard to expand party to 8/10 ppl like in cod. Make it life easier to join server and transfer with friends between games. Dice Please!!!!

I did search before creating that thread, honest.... 😉
The fact that it was never remedied during the lifecycle of 2042 is somewhat appalling, even if it was a failure.
I guess they were probably busy trying to change every other part of that game.
