Add revive to leaderboard alongside KDAC to encourage players to do it
Currently, far too many players just leave their teammates calling for a medic instead of reviving them and bleeding tickets in crucial matches, particularly when it’s down to the wire.
I would literally be lying there with 5 people not reviving me when we’re down to 20 tickets.
Revives need to feel as rewarding as kills to encourage players to go out of their way to do it, I revive players all the time, but there’s no reward or acknowledgement of it. The game just focussed on kills, assists and “Battlefield” moments, but revives are crucial. A player who revives 50 people has saved the team 50 tickets, especially in a game mode like breakthrough, reviving should come with fireworks!
And players need to be made explicitly aware that reviving a player does not count as a death.
I mean, there’s a deep irony here: the medic is the backbone of Battlefield’s pacing. Revives are a force multiplier and preserve ticket economy, sustain frontline momentum, and allow for those cinematic squad pushes that define the battle. Yet the scoreboard, the game’s public mirror, quietly tells medics they’re underperforming.
it encourages only one kind of playstyle: run and gun, forget the squad, but Battlefield has ALWAYS been about the squad.
Seriously, what’s rewarding about being a medic and reviving a bunch of players only to end up close to the bottom of the leaderboard because you spent more time rescuing than killing?
