No idea why the devs are so scared to let PC turn off crossplay
(Just MY opinion, I have no proof on this)
I think PC players are forced to join console servers, which is why we can't opt-out cause there's no other type of server to join.
This isn't the only game that has the same problem for PC players.
Sea of Thieves, for example, has had the same problem for PC players for years now.
