Pick a controller and try it for your self how "op" it is. Feels like PC players just refuse to belive that some controller players can actually aim. And btw. That "Snap target" setting doesn't actually snap to targets. It just gives some auto tracking to moving targets while ADS. It's horrible and messes your aim, best just to disable it.

I think the original poster is not up to speed on aim assist and snap zoom. Here is the summary from Google AI:
AI Overview
"Based on developer announcements and reports from the open beta, snap zoom was removed entirely from Battlefield 6. This was done to "humanize" the aim assist and make it a less mechanically heavy feature than it was in Battlefield 2042."
Aim Assist is merely a "slowdown" feature. Aiming with one's thumbs is actually not very easy to do.
In addition, I am not sure how anyone would know if they were being shot at by a console player or a mouse-and-keyboard player. Both types of players can either be good shots or bad shots depending on muscle memory and skill level.

Yes, it is not hard to do. I am mainly a mouse and keyboard player, and I tested the aim assist in this game with a xbox controller on PC. You can clearly feel how it sticks to your target. The slowdown effect is way too strong.. it is even hard to pull your crosshair away from the target.
This combined with the reduced recoil on controller makes controller by far the best input.
The aim assist really needs to be toned down. It could be nerfed by 50% and it would still be good. Yes, I tested all aim-assist settings on 50%, that feel more inline with what I would expect from a balanced aim assist. The reduced recoil for controller also needs to be addressed.
Controller players should also have to learn how to aim.. with the current aim assist all you have to do is learn your controller sensitivity and the game basically aim for you.
I thought the developers said they wanted to go light with aim assist, what happened? Seems like they buffed aim assist after the beta? It was not this obnoxious? - AchillezBF21 days agoNew Veteran

Can we either get an option to not play with console players or tune down the aim assist
There are plenty of controller players on PC, so an option to turn off cross play is not enough. The only solution is to better balance the aim assist.
I honestly thought a lot of controller players was cheating the way I got killed by some of them (you can see what input other players are using, so I know they are using controller), but after testing controller myself I realized it might just be the aim assist. - warriorjoy21 days agoSeasoned Adventurer
Main issue is keyboard and mouse users with the snipers.

I’m on controller and the aim “assist” is awful it makes hitting a moving target impossible I had to turn it off.
getting lasered from far away is cuz the better guns with better attachments are way better than the stock crap they stick you with til level 20+
try picking guns up off dead people it’s crazy

Hopefully it gets removed entirely it for a fact is blatantly aimbot, ive been watching who kills me the fastest and its ALWAYS a console player. I dont care what any of these cod players in this thread advocating for it saying "its fine" they are lying, the KNOW they have the upper hand in gunfights hence why they vehemently deny its overpowered nature because then they'd have to fight like everyone else. If you play Breakthrough, Rush, ANY close quarters map or game mode, the people with 2 K/D+ are console players, they are the only ones who literally aimbot me through smoke, insta kill me, absolutely never miss in any close quarter scenario especially if I'm completely hidden behind something they will blatantly track me through it. Not to mention its console players who seem to have the biggest latency issues, If im sniping, I could shoot them in the head all day, and wont get a single reg, but when I get hit once, i slide behind a truck and barrier and wait for my health to regen, only to just fall over and die mili-seconds later because console players internet apparently cant keep up and the game decided I died 3 seconds ago. I thought they got rid of aimbot-assist entirely but apparently the devs decided the fast TTK "wasnt enough" and decided to give console players aimbot.

idk bro, I haven't noticed controller players dominating the leaderboards at all. I have noticed there seem to be more keyboard and mouse players in general but where people are on the leaderboard usually seems decently mixed.
I keep hearing mixed reports too, I am in discussion with OP on a different thread where he is postulating that pc players are the main problem because they are the main ones hacking now that chronus has been cracked down on, so I'm not sure which is the bigger problem now lol.
I'll try and pay more attention to the input methods on the leaderboard and see if I notice any pattern to who's dominating.

Dude just go into any game and you will notice a lot more PC players now than before they started banning Chronus. And yes, a lot of the PC players are cheating and its obvious. I have the same gun and the same stuff and I have recoil and bullet bloom , they are just full out auto from across the map.

I'm not saying there aren't more pc players, or that you are wrong about that, I was just commenting on how you have one thread about how pc players are the problem, and also one about how console players are the problem, its funny bro.
Anywho, I notice you have created/participated in quite a few threads about cheating and how rampant it is, how its making the game unplayable ect. I've put a decent amount of hours in and I hardly ever go up against anybody like that. the only drawbacks of the game to me are actual development issues.
The few times I find somebody that I can't compete with, its just because they are out of my league and mechanically better in some aspect. If cheating is as prolific as you claim, then the cheats just cant be that good because how could I win if they are cheating?
Cheating is an issue sure, and I for one believe that all cheaters should see jail time for being such irredeemable cowards. However I think you are a little too obsessed and as a result are seeing cheats where in many cases you are actually just encountering sweats, tough players, or issues with the actual game. Which is why I encourage you to record all instances and put them up to view, I would definitely watch and discuss with you, maybe we can actually find some cheaters and get them banned!
