Yeah, déjà vu here as well. Particularly with so little go on. As a playtester, I feel confident that this game is better and will be better received than 2042. However, there is not much more behind the curtain in context to many of things you have mentioned... and that has me concerned as well.
October 10 is still a bit out, so there is still plenty of time to communicate stuff they have not revealed, but if they do not begin to address some of these major elephants in the room I will have to assume they don't have anything... which is bad. Quite bad.
Overall, in terms of just gameplay, I still think October 10 is too soon. There are still many issues to be tuned and dialed in just the basic gameplay... especially vehicles. If on top of that they communicate nothing as to a "main" server browser, platoons, commander mode, etc... I dunno. The beta will probably be well received, but I also predict many bugs and unpolished stuff to come out as well. Which again, 2 months... we will see!! lol

Yeah, my wallet will remain closed until such time said elephants are addressed. Gameplay looks fine, I just don't see any of the supporting systems or tools I'd like to, and without them, I don't see a future for BF6.
