Analogue/Hall Effect KB Allowed

With all the recent bans for cheat devices, I wanted to check before using this.

I have an hall effect keyboard on my PC, that measures how far down each key is being presses. I like to map WASD to the controller's left stick in games to allow for smoother movement and driving (highly suggest trying for those that also get motion sickness). This is a common workaround for games like BF6 where there is no native support for analog keyboards. Is doing this bannable offense similar to that of using a Cronus Zen?

Good question, I'd be curious to hear the answer. I also have a Hall Effect keyboard (keychron q1 he) but I haven't used the analog distance in that way (but that is a cool idea to try out!)

  • You're allowed to play with a keyboard and then pick-up a controller when you're in a vehicle. I couldn't imagine that it breaks the terms of service. The only problem is that I have no clue how such a keyboard interacts with the anti-cheat software.
