another day, another reminder why battlefield is not worth the time anymore
bots and cheaters in every game. so much for the anti-cheat system. there's nothing more frustrating than wasting 25 minutes playing a great game only to be killed by a team of unkillable bots prepositioned in the best possible spot in the end game. there was a short period of time where skill decided the outcome of a game. now it seems like games are designed to be unwinnable. I swear, dice is intentionally trying to make people quit this game. you're going to get what you want very soon dice. 98% player loss. you have less people playing battlefield than an OG match of Fortnite. that's embarrassing. you can't even fill a 32-player game of gauntlet.
Our anti-cheat team has recently shared A Year of Progress for EA Javelin Anticheat, which goes into more detail about the work and progress made over the past year. Hopefully it provides some useful insight into the measures being taken to combat cheating.
