Anyone know what 'sim' means in the metrics?

I cant seem to find a clear answer. People say its input lag but that doesn't make sense, why would it vary and change if the same peripherals are plugged in? I was just on a game of 2042 with my son...

I could be wrong but believe it to be TIC rate.

Ok so possibly since it was BF 2042 and it was a solo/AI breakthrough - maybe the tick rate is lowered... ?

I'm pretty sure tick rate has always been lower in Portal.
