Tanks are useless in Battlefield 6. Engineers just throw unlimited mines everywhere & then the maps saturated in invisible mines nobody can see. Mines 1 shots tanks up to 80% of their health in less than a second & disabled the engine spelling death. Then you’ve got engineers with RPGs that can 2 shot Light Infantry fighting vehicles & 2 shot tanks from the side or back. It doesn’t help that engineers can reload the RPG in half a millisecond like they’re popping open a bag of chips. Seriously how does someone reload a RPG in real life like they’re flipping a plastic bottle over. Since there’s no weapon class lock people just use their favorite guns & then just go engineer. 70%+ of the playerbase is engineers. Tank vehicles have literally no chance. On top of that they have to watch constantly for helicopter griefers who can kill a full health tank in 1 volley, strafing runs from jet bombers, random people running up with C4. The average person in a tank is not going to have engineers following him repairing him on demand. The average person in a tank is going to get deleted in a few minutes tops.
I’ve been literally top 1% scoring tanker in Battlefield since Battlefield 3 & this is the worse iteration for vehicle gameplay. I cant really push, I have to constantly play defensive as a tank, & if I get to c0cky or don’t constantly watch my flank even I get destroyed in minutes. Even through all the disadvantages I still go average 60-1 with tanks. But that’s a testament to how long I’ve been using tanks ( 15 years) so I’m more of an outlier. To put in perspective I used to average 120-1 on Battlefield 3, 90/3 in battlefield 4, & 80-1 on Battlefield 1. This tank just sucks you really gotta sweat to make kills. Hitting a person with a tank shell doesn’t even instakill in this game. Average tank driver is getting smoked. Being a tank in this game is literally just a anxiety pain simulator, you never get a moment of solace. This game is mostly infantry focused with small maps, call of duty like infantry movements, & dozens of anti vehicle weapons. It’s catered more to COD/Fortnite players to draw in more profits. Old vehicle mechanics are long gone.
I guess you never played bfv? I couldn't kill anything in a tank in that game, and I insta died in one, and I couldn't even dent a tank in it. imagine doing 5 dmg with rocket. lol. Yeah I mean they say to hit the tank in a special place? right.... I do 25dmg each rocket in this game. ands with 4 rockets and 2 AT nades I can take out a tank myself without repairs. if they getting repaired, me and a squad mate get the job done. The RPG is op, that other one I use that you don't even have to aim at the guy with is OP. But BfV was brutal and mind boggling, i never liked that version of bf but forced myself to play it. But BF6 made tankplay great again.
The only thing I would suggest is buffing tank rockets so they actually do dmg to infantry. Also the sens is too slow in 1st person and too fast in 3rd person which is weird but a minor issue. I'm once again getting kills in tank, and able to kill tank with infantry. the tank gunner in this game rocks. I'm absolutely loving it. Its like people just hate the game company and look for reasons to destroy them like demons of chaos.
I hope EA doesn't listen to all the bots who want to ruin a great thing now. the aim bots, the wall bots, who get mad when they can't dominate lol, and all the noob minds that these cheaters brainwash ragequitting them from the game without even a bullet. smh... Got in the tank yesterday to gun for someone. guy was cheating up a storm. Always knew where everyone was, never missed an air vehicle lol. the whole match was lopsided. in my squad and I felt ashamed.That would be a good idea having different munitions for at launchers. Want and anti infantry frag warhead for the rpg well it wont do anything armour. But it could create a good level of gameplay to root out people bunkered on an obj and making people have to be flexible with what they choose to adapt to situations.
so you want to nerf the RPG now against infantry? lol. Please just stop with the nerfs brother, i'm for buffs not nerf lmao. nerfs are rarely necessary lol. but one issue I have is that Tank Rockets don't dmg infantry. i mean it just kills the immersion, and is like a super huge nerf, candy carebear feeling in the game. I'm not a hardcore player mind you, just saying...lol feels like no other previous bf cause of it. its huge.
Also, the ammo is a problem. Noone drops ammo, because it is so hard to give someone ammo. Even though they let you pick it up, you can't drop it right back down. hahaha lmao.... i mean what? So if an engineer had easier access to ammo. I mean he drops a huge crate and even that doesn't give ammo to infantry. I don't see anywhere on the map to get ammo brother? I'm dropping ammo all the time, but i never get points for giving ammo, cause the players have to form like voltron and all stand right on the the ammo pack. If they at least increased the distance people get ammo like previous bfs, I mean it really feels like a troll at this point. Then tanks would be way easier to kill, you could bet money on that. I mean they should do more to get people ammo its ridiculous to always run out of ammo in the game. engineers can't even supply themselves, medics can't supply anyone cause you have to stand right on their pack, And they can't drop it right back down after picking it up. Just that alone would hep brother.
