team balance, or lack of
I'm a simple guy, I like 64 player vanilla conquest, always have. I think it's where BF is at its best. I know that BF Studios has said that skill is not prioritized for matchmaking, that's cool and tbh I'd be fine if they only chose players based on latency but I know it's not that simple.
Anyway, my issue is that like 4/5 games are not close at all, winning or losing by 500+ points. You roll or get rolled, there is no in between. Not always but usually. And it's not always the same side of the maps so I don't think it's a map balance problem. And it's not my fault as I am pretty much always in the top 5 on my team. I'm trying.
My question/suggestion is - after 64 players are in a lobby does the game do anything to choose teams or is it just red-blue-red-blue in order of joining? Like, does it try to make teams with roughly equal average score per min, average kdr... anything? If not, why? Do that. Whatever they are(n't) doing it isn't working well. BF4 tracked your score/min and that seems like a simple way to balance teams in an objective-based mode. When only one team is ptfo and has like 2-3x more combined caps than the other it's just not fun regardless of which side you're on. Don't put all the people that ptfo on the same team.
