Are We Being Forced to Play Battle Royal?

It's not the style of game I like. Getting killed and then just hanging around for another game to start? Forget it! I do poorly in an environment like that. I didn't like it in BF V, you're killed and you're out. And I only tried playing it a few times before I tired of that. And similarly Hazard Zone in BF 2042 which I just never played even once. Why are you required to play that game mode to unlock so many achievements? Players like me will miss weapon unlocks because of being required to play this mode of play.

The acievements are overly complex and hard to keep straight. There's too many of them. Some are too difficult to achieve in a day or a week. Who can devote the time to achieve them? And the maps aren't designed to achieve some of them. How can you achieve the Engineer vehicle kill achievements if there are no vehicles? Oh, I see I should switch to another specialist and remember what their achievement ladder is. Even if I don't like to play that specialist.

In other words this game is controlling how we play it. Has anyone ever seen an assault lay down a siege ladder? Putting up a siege ladder you're lucky you don't get killed with all the sensless mayhem on these small, compressed, overpopulated maps. There's probably other gear would would rather carry anyway.

I find this game generally frustrating and disappointing. RedSec takes up a lot of SSD space. I'm going to take it off my drive and won't worry about the BR achievements or the other acievements very much either. And I won't be playing this BF game as much as BF in the past and keep my blood preasure down that way.
