What Assault lacks is sufficient ammo to push and get through a defense line without needing supplies after the very first push in normal softcore mode, not having a support players by your side, you gotta swap kits with someone you killed to keep the push going, Assault needs at least 6x 30 round mags for this, that's 180 rounds, not a measly 3 mags totaling 90 rounds.
