"Assist counts as kill" does not actually count as a kill
This feature seems to be broken. In BF4, it actually added a kill in the scoreboard. Here it does nothing.

Agree! Was baffled by this. If it doesn't count as a kill, just call it an assist.
That's so annoying. But all the notifications in red, other than just kills, annoy me. Spawn assist, damage assist, spot assist...
Don't pop up in red as if I got a kill Ffs.
I think it just gives the same score as a kill but doesn't register as a kill.
It should register as a kill though.
It definitely should. This was a great improvement on BF4, as it was so annoying on BF3 when you took 90, 95, 99% of someone's health, only for someone else to finish them off and get the kill.
