IDK if there's that many...but there definitely are cheats. Seems to be one or two every other game. Someone gets 45-50 kills, which isn't impossible, but when you get hit by them it's a brrt-dead. Zero recoil/bloom/bullet deviation well past the distance where there absolutely should be misses due to range and recoil, especially if they're jumping around and still not missing, and moreso if they're on a console. Aim assist isn't good enough for that. So yeah...absolutely there are cheaters, I think it's even worse than 2042, but it's not super common.
EDIT: After having put several days in...yeah, I think there are way more cheats than I thought. Base level players and guns that are tracking behind cover, no miss, etc.
