Battlefield 6 – The Worst Battlefield Yet
Last night was hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had in a video game. The hype around this game is insane, but what we got isn’t Battlefield — it’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 with vehicles tossed in to fake that “Battlefield experience.”
Nothing feels right.
Sniping? A joke.
Shots to the shoulder, neck, even upper chest don’t one-shot. The core of the sniper class is gone.
SMGs? Pea shooters.
At five metres, it should take 4–5 bullets. Instead, it’s 9–10. TTK is all over the place — slow when it shouldn’t be, random when it matters.
Weapons in general feel weak, inconsistent, and have zero impact. Reviewers everywhere are saying the same thing — unbalanced, floaty gunplay, and awful hit detection.
Vehicles? Utter garbage.
They feel weightless and fragile — like cardboard boxes on wheels. Tanks die in seconds to infantry spam, and driving feels awkward, clunky, and nothing like the power of Battlefield 4 or 1. Even the vehicle HUD is a mess — cluttered, unclear, and constantly in your face.
HUD and UI? Horrendous.
Screen clutter everywhere, icons blocking your view, and terrible feedback when you’re hit. It’s like they tried to make it “modern” and forgot it needs to be usable.
Maps? Tiny.
Even Conquest feels cramped. You can’t snipe, you can’t flank, and you can’t breathe. Battlefield used to be about scale — now it’s just arcade chaos.
Overall feel? Empty. Soulless. It doesn’t even feel like a Battlefield game anymore.
Verdict:
A confused, watered-down mess trying to be everything and ending up nothing.
The worst Battlefield experience to date.
Not much of a discussion I would just like to share my thoughts on my experiences so far and see if anyone else is experiencing similar themes as I am.
