One of the few things I actually did like about Battlefield 2042 was that there were finally AI Soldiers for us to play with and against. Although personally I think they need upgrades for the new game to make them feel a lot better to play with.
Yes I understand others don't want them in the public servers. But my question is will they still be available in Private Servers and Solo/COOP matches like they are in Battlefield 2042?
BF2 had dev tools. It has so many cool mods even to this day. I could only imagine the masterful created play if they released dev tools to the modding community. Without AI it is a waste of time as most PvP players move on to the latest released game. EA knows this and giving the modding community this defeats their purpose of keeping players buying the latest releases.

It is really not hard to control the AI. The developers could add a setting of accuracy variance for AI down to the type of weapon. Also, they had settings in 2042 that would make damage from AI less than Players giving the player a chance to return fire even if a bot fired first with aimbot.
The AI in 2042 were a great addition to Portal. I cannot see populated servers without AI seeding. If they keep AI from BF6 I will skip it. I believe they will be in the Portal, and maybe they just are keeping it on the low because they know streamers do not like them and right now EA does not want any negativity coming from streamers mouths about this game.
Don't care either way. Love BF ever since BF2 launched. Remaster BF2 and I would play it the rest of my life.
Be sure to ask for OFFLINE bots, lest we have a repeat of 2042.
You forgot to ask if they will be available OFFLINE.
I wasn't there for Battlefield 1942 but I did start playing with Battlefield 2 on a computer so weak it could barely even play the small singleplayer AI Bot matches at the time. It's actually because of those first moments that I still prefer Bot Matches compared to playing with others.
I have played every single Battlefield game since then both online and their Singleplayer and COOP modes. Even to this day I still feel like Battlefield 2 was the perfect experience before Destruction was added in Battlefield 3 and the later games. I absolutely love the Destruction in those games but really hate the fact we couldn't do AI matches like we could in Battlefield 2. Sure they had Campaigns but it just isn't the same.
Everyone keeps telling me that the best way to play Battlefield is in full matches with other people and I won't disagree with that. However the reason why I like AI Bot matches more is mainly because they are simply less stressful in general because I don't have to worry about what everyone else on my team thinks about how I am doing since I feel like I am always on the bottom of the leaderboard when it comes to the amount of kills I have every match.
AI don't care about that and using 2042 as an example they also allow me to play on ANY MAP on ANY MODE whenever I want to even if the maps and modes I want to play on are the most unpopular maps in the game compared to the others (Tehran Highway in Battlefield 3 is a good example of this).
That is why I am trying to push for this so much. Because for some of us this really is the best and sometimes only way we can play this game at all.
Same here, I’d prefer not having them in public lobbies, but I don’t mind them in co-op or some form of test range.
on Battlefield 2042 the AI bot is ok but I prefer playing player versus player.
