I didn't do a pile of reading prior to pre-order. I did not play much BF since Hardline. Wanted it to be fantastic as the key thing I loathed about the competitor outside the ridiculous skins is aim assist. This isn't about console and PC. It's about controllers and keyboard/mouse. After trying beta tonight, I have to say I am disappointed. The number of bunny sniper headshots is comparable to the competition and severely turns me off. I am going to give a chance over the weekend. But, if the sweatyness continues, I am out .
Looks like they kept all the assist for controller players. Like you said, and many others seem to gloss over, is that people can use controllers on PC. I pointed to Crossplay as part of the problem because they balance the inputs anticipating that being in the game. They don't balance the inputs separately for PC and Console.
