Battlefield 6 August Beta Xbox Series X Feedback Log (Late Post):
My list of Found Bugs/Issues:
(I acknowledge that most, if not all, of these might have been addressed by the development team at this time of posting. Also, I am aware that a Beta has aspects and assets that are unfinished).
-Replicable AND consistent major frame rate dropping while in the Firing Range, every single time.
-Button mapping bugged: I have B button mapped for Melee and the R stick for Crouch/Prone. B Button still Crouches/Prone.
-Floating assets. Some map assets such as destroyed objects still “float” around.
-Sniper Glint too strong.
-Defibrillator recharge rate is too fast. Felt broken. I love to revive my teammates, but not so fast that it feels unfair.
-Radio announcers would notify player of enemy location, with a compass heading…BUT compass is not on by default!
-When flying the Attack Helicopter as a pilot, the gunner (secondary player)’s head would block the windshield and a good portion of the view when in first person (cockpit view)
-Red dot reticles were very dull. Needs to be brighten up a bit more.
-Shotgun pellet damage felt fine, but its rechambering rate was too fast.
-Enemies exploiting rooftops in Urban Maps.
-Players would get stuck inside geography, especially in the Iberian Offensive Map.
-MCOMs, especially in the Empire State map, Rush mode, felt too close together. Also, there are barely any flanking routes surrounding them to utilize for fun and effective strategic attacks.
-Squad Leaders would lose their Squad Leader position when a round ends and switches to the next map.
-Also Squad List to the immediate right of the minimap doesn’t show the four squad mates in numbered order from top to bottom.
-“Request Order” is missing in the Commo Rose. It’s a must have.
Extra Suggestions:
-Remove Autospotting. Enemies to be spotted manually via Commo Rose. Would like to flank enemies discreetly, hide in bushes to ambush tanks, evading detection until actually spotted. Smoke grenades should also negate being spotted. This by far was the only feature I really really disliked in the beta!
-Provide player the ability to customize HUD ticket counter to display above the mini-map, like in Battlefield 4.
-Provide player the ability to reduce or increase the size of HUD items to their specifications
-Settings options are not streamlined and are very cluttered. Also, going back to the previous page would just get you back to the “top” of the main settings menu and the not the actual “previous page”. Not user friendly.
-Add ability to shoot grenades in midair and/or toss them right back
-Where are the in-game ribbons!? Like in 2042!?
-Bring back squad requisition call ins such as supply drops, artillery, and smoke barrages such as the ones in Battlefield V.
-DO NOT TOUCH THE TTK! Gunplay felt smooth, enjoyable, and felt fair with exception to the Beta’s shotgun of course.
