So this is a lesson for us for the future: don't trust this publisher anymore (there's been too much of the same thing over the years), don't support their games, and eventually they'll either get over it or disappear from the market.
They only care about profits, so when they see that sales of the new game are negligible with each release, they'll quickly change their approach, because they seem to have forgotten that they make games for players, not for their own artistic whims.
They know very well that they won't get far even with microtransactions - that's why they milk players for as much money as they can in the shortest possible time.
