Battlefield 6 Is Great — But It’s Missing One Small Thing
Don’t get me wrong, Battlefield 6 is a great game and when it works, it really works. The scale, chaos, and gunplay are all there. But it feels like it’s missing one small detail that could massively improve the experience: a proper preparation phase. In modes like Breakthrough, letting teams place and equip defensive gear before the match starts, setting up sentries, laying barbed wire, and spending earned points to fortify key areas, would add a whole new layer of strategy. More importantly, it would stop the game from feeling repetitive, because every round would play out differently depending on how players customise the battlefield. Instead of running the same routes and fights every match, you’d be shaping the combat yourself, making each game feel fresh, tactical, and unpredictable.
